MARTA: Atlanta Public Transportation

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's public transit system which has been providing bus and rail service to the City of Atlanta since 1972. There are three rail stations that allow convenient access to Georgia Tech from the airport. Please be aware that transportation options differ greatly depending on your housing location on campus. Contact your Conference Organizer to confirm service and for specific details.

Midtown Station

The Midtown Station is the most convenient station to the Georgia Tech campus. Trolley service from the Midtown Station runs through Technology Square and through the center of campus. A service map of the Tech Trolley is available (Schedules may vary and must be confirmed).

Arts Center Station

The Arts Center Station, while not the closest station to campus, offers the best bus route onto campus. To get to Georgia Tech Conference Services from the Arts Center Station, make sure to get a bus transfer ticket when you deposit the Marta token in the turnstile. This ticket allows to you use Marta's extensive bus system to get to Georgia Tech. Once arriving at the Arts Center Station get on bus route 98. Get off the bus at the corner of FERST AVENUE and SIXTH STREET. The Conference Services Office is one block down Sixth Street and one block over on McMillian. Our office will be on your right.
